Preface

The quadrilateral symposium on coordination chemistry was established to serve as a platform for scholars in coordination chemistry to exchange their latest scientific findings and promote collaborations in this area.
This time, in the 5th symposium, we are going to proceed a new phase. The symposium will be held under close collaborations with Japan Society of Coordination Chemistry (JSCC) and Japan Society for Molecular Science (JSMS), which will expand the scope of this symposium in chemistry. In addition, the symposium will be positioned as a joint symposium with two research projects "Coordination Asymmetry" and "Soft Crystals" for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas, KAKENHI.
We will have 20 invited speakers from Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong with Japanese speakers and participants. We are intended to foster mutual understanding, stimulation and sharing of ideas, and deepen collaboration between us.
